In 1942 Parker discontinued the wide-banded Speedline Senior Maxima and introduced a redesigned version known today as the Single Jewel Senior Maxima.
This model marked the end of the classic Speedline era and the beginning of the final Vacumatic generation.
Earlier Speedline Maximas had:
Dimensions remained similar to the earlier Senior Maxima, but trim and construction changed.
Produced approximately between 1942 and 1948.
Later production moved toward post-war Parker styling, eventually leading into the Parker 51 era.
